A Sanctuary for Nature,
Community & Healing.
The Gardens offer a peaceful lily-covered fishpond with the sound of a trickling stream, a leisurely stroll through flower beds,
trees, a small orchard, labyrinth, vines, beekeeping, a ahaded courtyard, and extensive lawns. Benches are available for rest
and contemption throughout. A Children’s Garden is waiting for young explorers.
Trust And Mission Statements
Located on Anderton Road, directly behind Anderton Nursery, the Anderton Therapeutic Garden is the result of Bill and Joy Georgesons’ dream to create a garden where people’s wellbeing could be enhanced and the generosity of Ellen & Karl, owners of the Anderton Nursery.
We offer recreational opportunities to painters, photographers, musicians, yoga practitioners, coffee drinkers and flower and vegetable growers. Our covered stage and ample seating are available for musical performances, weddings, teas, dances, and art shows. Over 40 allotments are rented out each year to novice and seasoned gardeners. Add in our CAFE and plenty of seating in the Courtyard and you’ve got the perfect spot to spend a few luxurious hours. MORE ABOUT US
